After years of preparing foods, steam and oilf begin to effect wear and tear on your doors, drawers and cabinet frames. While a kitchen remodel may be desired it is not always practical. The expense of a remodel is impacted by several factors:
A traditional reface consists of sanding down existing doors and drawer faces to bare wood and then going through the standard applications fo priming and painting. This is a time consuming process and labor intensive. It also means that your kitchen will be without doors or drawers for as long as it takes the craftsman to complete their work wich whill leave your food, plates and silverware exposed in the mean time. In addition to the downtime, most refacers will not take the risk of placing a warranty on their paint finishes becuase the joints in the doors may have become loose or weakened over time which could result in the development of cracks or seems forming in the finish. Refacing is labor intensive and more often than not will cost more than simply building new doors and drawer fronts. With new doors and drawers we can guarantee a clean finish that can be warrantied. There's no need to remove the existing doors and drawers until we come on site to replace the existing pieces. While we are at it we can also upgrade your old door hinges and drawer guides to new soft close systems and even replace your old drawers with new solid maple drawers that will last for years to come.
